Warranty Policy
The
Thermaltake Warranty Program (hereby referred to as “the
Program”) from Thermaltake Technologies Inc. would like
to assure all of the users of Thermaltake products to be
free from any defects as a result of faulty manufacturing
or faulty components under the following terms and conditions:
I.
Duration of the Program
All products from Thermaltake Technologies Inc. automatically
carry a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase, with
the exception of power supply units which carry a 5-year
warranty. If no proof of purchase can be presented upon
request, Thermaltake cannot be held responsible for warranty
service. If the unit is dead on arrival or are missing parts,
the user has 10 days from the receiving date to report to
Thermaltake for an advanced RMA service.
II.
Who Is Covered Under the Program
The original customer from the United States and Canada
purchasing the Thermaltake product is covered under the
Thermaltake Warranty Program. Thermaltake products sold
from auction sites such as eBay.com and Amazon.com by private
sellers cannot be honored.
III.
What Is and Is Not Covered Under the Program
It is important to note that our warranty is not an unconditional
guarantee for the duration of the Program. Should the product,
in Thermaltake Technologies Inc.'s opinion, malfunction
within the warranty period, Thermaltake Technologies Inc.
will at its discretion repair or replace the product upon
receipt with an equivalent. Any replaced parts become the
property of Thermaltake Technologies Inc. The Program does
not apply to the software component of a product or a product
which has been damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse, improper
installation, usage not in accordance with product specifications
and instructions, natural or personal disaster, or unauthorized
alterations, repairs or modifications.
The
Program does not cover any events including but not limited
to:
· Any damages unrelated to manufacturing defects.
· Any unsuitable environment or use of the product in Thermaltake's
opinion.
· Any product which has been modified without official permission
from Thermaltake, or on which the serial number or warranty
sticker has been defaced, modified, or removed.
· Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning,
or other acts of nature, commercial or industrial use, unauthorized
product modification or failure to follow instructions included
with the product.
· Third party products using Thermaltake components will
not be covered by warranty. See your vendor or the manufacturer
for information about servicing.
· Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by
Thermaltake, Inc.
· Any shipment damages (claims must be made with the carrier).
· Unauthorized repairs to a Thermaltake product will void
the warranty offered by the Program. Thermaltake reserves
the right to refuse to service any product which has been
altered, modified or repaired by non-Thermaltake service
personnel.
· Thermaltake, Inc. does not warrant that this product will
meet your requirements. It is your responsibility to determine
the suitability of this product for your purpose.
· Removal or installation charges.
· You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product
to Thermaltake. Thermaltake pays the cost of returning a
product to you.
· Thermaltake reserves the right to replace the product
with a service product at their sole discretion at any time.
IV. Limitations Of Implied Warranties
There are no other oral or written warranties, expressed
or implied, including but not limited to those of merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose. The duration of implied
warranties is limited to the warranty length specified in
Paragraph I.
V.
Warranty Registration
Thermaltake Technologies Inc. does not require its users
to send in any paperwork to register the product. In the
unlikely event that warranty service is required, Thermaltake
Technologies Inc. will request a proof of purchase (store
receipt or invoice) and the user must provide that in order
to receive warranty service unless permitted otherwise.
VI.
Exclusion of Damages (Disclaimer)
Thermaltake's sole obligation and liability under this Program
is limited to the repair or replacement of a defective product
at our option. Thermaltake shall not, in any event, be liable
to the purchaser or any third party for any incidental or
consequential damage, (including, but not limited to, damages
resulting from interruption of service and loss of business),
or liability in tort relating to this product or resulting
from its use or possession.

For Technical Support
In North America : If you need help installing or troubleshooting
a product please submit a technical support request form
at: /support.asp or call our
technical support department toll free at (800) 988-1088.
Our technical support team is open Monday through Friday,
9:00AM to 5:30PM PST – any messages left after office hours
will be returned as soon as possible.
VIII.
For Warranty Service
In North America : If your product needs repair or defects
within the first 30 days after purchase, please return it
to the merchant from whom you purchased the product with
and enclose a description of the problem and a copy of your
proof of purchase with the defective product. All replacement
products have an extended 30 days of warranty after the
item has been received by the customer. For any extended
warranty services covered under the Program, please log
onto our website at: http://eworks.thermaltake.com/erma/agreement.asp
to complete the RMA request form online. The request form
will allow you to request for replacement parts. If you
have any questions regarding the RMA process, please contact
our RMA department at rma@thermaltake.com or call toll free
at (800) 988-1088 ext 103 from Monday through Friday, 9:00AM
to 5:30PM PST.
When
returning product, please be sure to enclose a clear description
of the problem and your proof of purchase with the defective
product and return it as instructed by the Thermaltake RMA
Department. Be sure to package the product securely (preferably
in its original packaging) and ship it postpaid. Your dealer
or Thermaltake will not be responsible for damage due to
shipping. During the warranty period, your product will
be repaired or replaced without charge, excluding shipping
and handling.
