The case isn't just a gimmick, because it actually does have plenty of useable features. There is the potential for excellent cooling all around given the number of fans included and the fans that can be added.

Fast forward about 14 months and I find myself on the receiving end of this seemingly magnificent case albeit now I am a bit more jaded regarding what I do and don’t like to see in a case

Thermaltake really has done it with the SwordM. You will not find another case on the market like it at all. Handcrafted of all aluminum and with a very unique look it sets itself apart from every other case out there
..

Let's forget, if only for the briefest of moments, that the Thermaltake SwordM offers pre-installed water cooling and opens up on hydraulic pistons like some kind of enraged scarab beetle
